ANGOLA: New Hotels Begin Operating By 2016 In Huila

At least five three and four-star hotels, with a capacity of 900 beds, start operating from next year 2016, in Lubango city, southern Huila province, announced Tuesday, the head of Department of Hospitality and Tourism, João Silvestre Figueiredo.

João Silvestre Figueiredo revealed the number of hotels being concluded and on the occasion of World Tourism Day celebrated Sunday, João Silvestre Figueiredo said the hotels are of the group three "AAA", Admar, Imperio Hotel and Mukanka.

According to Joao Silvestre Figueiredo, the hotel units began to be built in 2007 and the owners have given assurances that by next year they will start operating and running.

"We received assurances that the hotels are nearing completion, and they should start work in 2016, as due to the time they have been creating a certain embarrassment in the architectural layout of the city of Lubango," stressed the official.

Estimated at more than 6.7 billion Kwanzas, the hotels of Group three "AAA" has 440 beds, the Admar 65, the Mukanka 200 and the Imperio 40, which will employ 348 young people.
