Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi-based Iris Media has launched an upgraded version of its tourism and hospitality website www.hotelandrest.com.
Iris Media Manager Sana Al Ghalani said the new version is easily accessible and allows visitors to see a large variety of its services and global networks.
She said the launching of the new website is intended to cope with technological progress in this field and improve content for visitors. She added that the new site also includes scenery and tourism sites in the UAE.
The website editor in chief Amal Hisham Al Saraj said the new site focuses on the latest developments in tourism and hospitality in the UAE as well as news about companies, hotels, restaurants, tourism sites and other facilities.
"It is a major source of tourism and hospitality news and a key reference for those concerned in this sector," she said.
Iris Media's development manager Mr Ashraf Hammad said the new site offers comprehensive information about hotels and restaurants in the UAE and other countries in the Middle East, adding that it also provides the latest tourism news in the UAE.
The site also covers exclusive interviews with hotel managers and executives, as well as travel news and other services, he said.
He added that at least 25,000 people visit the site every day and is the 407,000th site worldwide.
