Tourist Narrowly Loses Head Photographing Low-flying Plane

Watching airplanes land at Gustaf III airport in St. Barts can be a thrilling event, however ,one tourist nearly lost his head last week when a low-flying plane came in a little too low for its landing.

The entire thing was captured on 360-degree video, which allows us to have a unique view of a near death experience. Now it's hard to tell if the 360 video throws off the perspective at all, but the plane's landing gear appears to nearly make contact with the man, who is trying to take a photo of the craft.

According to the clip's YouTube description, plane spotter Sébastien Politano is responsible for the footage. Politano told Caters News that the aircraft skimmed his hand during the landing, but he seems to be unphased by the whole ordeal.

The airport is clearly a popular destination for thrill-seeking plane lovers, but it's probably a good idea to stand a little bit to the side, and not directly underneath the plane's flightpath.
