GHM's upcoming Al Bait property in Sharjah, UAE, has revealed the general manager at its helm: Florian Leven.
Set to open later in 2017, the 54-room hotel is a luxury property that is set to include Sharjah's history and culture within its design and product offering.
Leven was formerly the resident manager of the Nam Hai Hoi An in Central Vietnam. He was in charge of The Nam Hai’s day-to-day operations, focusing on quality control, service and product consistency and staff training, receiving excellent LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) scores for the hotel throughout his supervision.
With more than 17 years of international hotel experience, this is Leven's first time as a general manager.
He commented in a statement: "Al Bait and Sharjah will be a compelling destination for today’s travellers – it boasts a rich history, an exotic culture, an unexplored landscape and discoveries waiting to be made by the intrepid seeker. It’s a privilege for me to be part of this adventure that GHM is bringing to the industry."
Leven’s expertise in the daily hotel operations is complemented by his finance and revenue management background. Before joining the GHM team in Vietnam, his work brought him from his home in Germany to Switzerland and then to Hawaii in the USA.
