Singer Chris Brown is stuck in the Philippines.
The country's official news agency reports it's because a concert promoter says Brown owes him money.
Brown was in the Philippines for a concert, and was about to leave for Hong Kong on a private jet when he was detained.
Officials say Brown can apply for clearance to leave the country while the issue is resolved.
The promoter says Brown didn't show up for a scheduled appearance last New Year’s Eve.
