MALI: Emirates Airline Widens Africa Network

Come October 25, Bamako, capital city of Mali, will become Emirates airline’s 28th destination in Africa. The new destination will initially be served 4 times a week in conjunction with Dakar. Information sources indicated that the service will be operated using an Airbus A340-300. The 3-class cabin configuration on this aircraft offers 12 First Class seats, 42 business class seats, and 213 economy class seats.

This sixth West African destination of Emirates joins a still-growing network across Africa, which covers North, East, Central and Southern Africa, with all destinations served with wide-body aircraft.

In Eastern Africa, Emirates serve Nairobi and Dar es Salaam twice a day and Entebbe once a day while FlyDubai operates daily services into Entebbe and Dar es Salaam, from where some flights continue to Zanzibar, Kilimanjaro, Kigali and Bujumbura.
