NEPAL: Everest Hotel Reopens After Massive Earthquake

Nepal's five start hotel, Everest Hotel resumes its service after the completion of its maintenance and repairing works.

Head of Human Resource Department of the hotel, Narayan Poudel said that the after repairing some of the rooms and major Lobby of the hotel it has resumed its operation from Sunday.

Most the the parts of the hotel are open and the construction work of 160 rooms are being carried out.

Everest hotel discounted its service after the massive earthquake as the tourism department marked the hotel with red sticker.

Also, the workers of the company were on strike that's why the maintenance work was not carried out.

After the agreement between the management team and the workers on February 2018, that started the maintenance work.

Poudel said that more than 100 workers have joined them again. Everest hotel is being operated in Nepal for 4 decades and it consists of Indian Investment.

Managing Director of Tourism Department, Dhanduraj Ghimire has given application to the hotel for its environment assessment and has asked for all the details of the hotels.
