SOUTH AFRICA: Flights Delayed Due To Bad WeatheR

Cape Town - Flights in and out of OR Tambo in Johannesburg have been delayed, as a result of of bad weather earlier on Wednesday morning.

Acsa spokesperson Colin Naidoo told Traveller24 the airport was working to alleviate the knock-on effect caused by the bad weather, which is expected to last for most of the day.

"Due to adverse weather conditions and low visibility experienced at OR Tambo International Airport this morning, flights to and from OR Tambo International are currently experiencing delays in departure and arrival," said Naidoo.

"The weather conditions have since improved however, due to the earlier delays, airports are now working on normalising their schedules, which could be for most of today."
