South Africa: Pali Hailed As A Healer - Pastor TB Joshua His Adviser

After a string of controversies, gospel star Sechaba Pali is reinventing himself as a healer.

Two women claim to have survived long-lasting pain after Pali prayed for them.

But Pali is coy about his new venture saying he doesn't do much.

"There are other people who I have prayed for. But what needs to be cleared is that I'm not a healer. God is the one who heals them. I don't sing or anything. All I do is just pray for them," he said.

Pali told Sowetan that he has a close relationship with the Synagogue Church of All Nations and refers to its leader Pastor TB Joshua as his adviser.

The singer said their relationship went so deep that even the title of his latest album, Tshwarelo (forgiveness), had been blessed by Joshua.

Pali confirmed praying for the sick, who now seem to have recovered from mysterious illnesses.

Makhotsang Makatisi, a Pretoria-based woman from Lesotho, claimed that she suffered a variety of ailments, including toothaches and chest pains.

She said after trying different churches and sangomas for two decades, she found Pali who prayed for her a month ago. She said she was now healed of her pains.

The 45-year-old believed her ailments were spiritually rooted and was initially advised that it was linked to ancestral practices.

She said she had heard about Pali from other people that he prayed for and were healed.

Moleboheng Nontobeko Nombula, 40, from Welkom, Free State, said she lived with pain in her lower belly for years.

"He prayed with me three times and it got out. We did not sing but just prayed. It has been out for two weeks and I have not felt any pain since," said Nombula.

She said the singer was known for praying for people in his home town of Welkom in the Free State.
