FRANCE: Hotel Sofitel Paris le Faubourg

Tucked away on a quiet street in the heart of Paris, Sofitel’s flagship hotel is arguably its loudest when it comes to style, although it doesn’t really have a choice.

Given its spot near one of the most fashionable and exclusive streets in the world, Hotel Sofitel Paris le Faubourg must be on trend and looking its best at all times.

That will especially be the case when Paris Fashion Week kicks off on March 2 and the five-star hotel becomes a hub of activity and a base for the stars of haute couture.

Guests are almost guaranteed a peaceful sleep thanks to the incredibly comfortable MyBed beds and the quiet courtyard that the junior rooms overlook.

Just off the Champs-Elysees in the heart of the capital, Hotel Sofitel Paris le Faubourg has 111 guest rooms and 36 suites with street or courtyard views.

Despite being the smallest, junior rooms, at 377 square feet, are spacious and vibrant, with grey, black and white patterns and gold and chrome accents.

Measuring nearly 1,100 square feet, the Couture Apartment is a penthouse suite with a luxurious design and breathtaking views of Paris.

Located on the top floor, the Couture Apartment has a whirlpool bath, his and hers sinks and black, ivory and gold tones.
At the Library lounge, hotel guests and locals can enjoy afternoon tea or a cocktail while they browse books on fashion, travel and art

At the top end is the Couture Apartment, 1,076 square foot penthouse suite that was designed as an homage to haute couture with stunning views over Paris.
In a fashion capital where keeping up with the latest trends can be a dizzying experience, the hotel is conveniently located near to Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore and its designer shops, in Paris’ 8th arrondissement.

Thanks to its proximity to the US Embassy and Elysee Palace, the official residence of the French president, it is surrounded by heavy security and falls in the middle of one of Paris’ safest streets.

With the US Embassy at the bottom of Rue Boissy d’Anglas, barricades and heavily-armed police officers are positioned at both ends of the semi-pedestrianised street.

While it’s a haven for shoppers with expensive tastes, it is also near to some of Paris’ best sights.

Place de la Concorde, the Louvre, Arc de Triomphe and Musee d’Orsay are all located nearby, and the Eiffel Tower is just over a mile away.

For dining, Hotel Sofitel Paris le Faubourg offers two options, including STAY Faubourg, an urban dining concept created by Parisian chef Yannck Alleno, who has been awarded three Michelin stars.

No matter the season, pampering is always in style. Guests have access to a steam room with special lighting effects and massage jets, two hammams and massages that are available upon request in treatment rooms or their guest room or suite.
