MALAYSIA: Malindo Air Relocating To Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA)

Malindo Air has announced it will relocate flight operations from Kuala Lumpur's klia2 terminal to the main Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) from next month.

The move will take effect from March 15, and customers are 'urged to make the necessary transportation and meeting point arrangements accordingly,' the airline said.

Malaysia Airports Holdings managing director Datuk Badlisham Ghazali said it is a natural progression for the airline as it has evolved from a hybrid to a full-service airline, adding that KLIA can better support the airline's operations with premium services.

"Malaysia Airports is pleased to facilitate Malindo Air's change in business requirements," Ghazali said.

Ghazali also noted the relocation will streamline transfers for customers arriving into Malaysia on Malindo's codeshare partner airlines.

Malindo also flies ATR turboprop services from the nearby Subang Skypark which will continue unchanged, the carrier said.
