UAE: Emirates Starts Special Fares For Longest Flights

Dubai's Emirates Airline has unveiled special fares starting from less than $2000 for its daily service to Panama City, which at at 17 hours 35 minutes long will be the longest non-stop flight in the world travelling westwards when it launches in February.

The service, which launches on February 1 2016 and will be Emirates’ first gateway destination in Central America, will see pre-launch fares starting from AED 7,205 ($1,961) in Economy Class and from AED20,525 in Business Class. The offer is currently on offer and is valid for outbound travel between 1 February to 23 March 2016.

Travellers can also connect via Panama City to over 25 cities across the Caribbean, Central and South America with Copa Airlines.

“Panama City will be our first destination gateway in Central America, providing a convenient option for our passengers travelling from or through our global hub in Dubai and onward to destinations throughout Central America, the Caribbean and the northern part of South America,” said Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman and chief executive of Emirates Airline & Group.

“We’re also pleased to be the only commercial airline to offer a daily, First Class service to travellers on what will be the world’s longest non-stop flight.”
