Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, has unveiled plans to boost service to Gassim, Saudi Arabia, said a report.

From April 24, daily flights will be operated to Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Regional Airport, a report in Bahrain News Agency said.

This is the airline’s third Saudi Arabian destination to witness a frequency boost over the past three months; Gulf Air increased its Riyadh service, in March , to 32 weekly flights while its Jeddah service was increased to a total of four daily flights in February.

"Following on from recent increases to other Saudi Arabian destinations, Gulf Air’s most recent schedule enhancement to Gassim not only helps us further satisfy passenger needs but also creates improved connections for those passengers connecting to and from Gulf Air’s network of onwards destinations across the globe," the report quoted Gulf Air a/chief commercial officer Ahmed Janahi as saying. "By focusing on this critical market we are working to provide superior travel solutions that cater to the travel needs of our Saudi passengers and their growing travel needs," he said.
