The airline, which operates from bases in France, Italy and Spain, is headquartered in Barcelona.
A4E is a campaign and lobbying group for the European aviation industry, currently working to bring an end to ongoing strikes in France and Germany and calling for passenger taxes to be abolished.
"We are looking forward to working with Airlines for Europe and its member airlines on a focused aviation agenda for Europe," said Volotea CEO Carlos Munoz.
