UNITED KINGDOM: Flights To Bangkok On Sale For Less Than 49 Pounds

Student and youth travel company STA Travel will sell 98 seats from the UK to Bangkok for just £49.

It will have 49 seats available at this fare from London and 49 available from Birmingham.

The fares will only be on sale at STA Travel stores in London Victoria and Birmingham's Corporation Street, starting at 9am on Thursday. There will be no option to buy over the phone or online.

STA Travel's UK country manager Tim Fryer, said: "We are really excited to be able to bring these amazing fares to our customers, and expect demand will be extremely high so get in line to snap them up."

Each person can only buy one £49 fare, but there will be an additional offer of return tickets to Bangkok for £299 available from stores on April 28 and STA is offering up to 50% off selected accommodation in Thailand.

Fryer added: "Last year, when we unveiled £75 fares to New Zealand, there were people queuing around the block for two nights."
