Low-cost airline AirAsia has recommenced direct flights to Dhaka with encouraging flight loads on its inaugural flight Friday.
Head of commercial Spencer Lee said the inaugural flight signified another addition to AirAsia’s extensive flight network, adding on to the airline’s excellent connectivity to Asia and beyond for all its guests.
“As Malaysia and Bangladesh have existing and strong bilateral ties, especially in trade and investment, we at AirAsia are proud to bolster this relationship by providing a bridge between both nations through our daily flights with the world’s best services,” he said in a statement Saturday.
He said to make the booking experience as smooth and fast as possible, the airline has introduced an enhanced booking system via its website that features faster payment, easier navigation as well as the ability to pick up from customers’ last search.
A thriving and bustling metropolis with 18 million people, Dhaka is one of the world’s largest cities.
