NEW ZEALAND: Body Of Second Missing Tourist Found In New Zealand

Two Montreal University students caught a bus earlier this month on a Tuesday in order to walk the Kepler Track in Fiordland National Park in New Zealand. Families reported them missing when they did not return by that Saturday.

During an aerial search yesterday, a second body was found in avalanche debris near Iris Burn Hut, approximately 350 meters below the track.

A helicopter rescue team was able to retrieve both bodies. They are believed to be the two missing students – Etienne Lemieux and Louis-Vincent Lessard - both 23 years of age, last seen getting on a bus in Queenstown headed for Te Anau on July 7.
