SOUTH AFRICA: Uniting Against Poaching

Unitrans Volkswagen joins the fight against poaching

Unitrans Volkswagen will be donating around R5 million per year to the South African National Parks Honorary Rangers counter poaching effort.
Unite against poaching!

Unitrans Volkswagen will also be donating R500 for each Volkswagen or Audi motor vehicle sold by the group. By supporting this effort and buying your next vehicle from a Unitrans Volkswagen or Audi dealership, members of the public can contribute to this effort.

Despite valiant and well coordinated attempts to stop the brutal slaughter of our rhino, the conservation community remains on the back foot because of limited resources. It is expected that more than 400 rhino will be poached in South Africa by the end of 2012. This number will start eroding the core numbers of the rhino population.

Donations such as this one by Unitrans will, however, help to turn this tide, as the SANParks Honorary Rangers are now in a position to help equip and train field rangers to fight this onslaught. The vehicles will be used in the fight against poaching by enabling key counter poaching units to react to poaching incidents.
We encourage YOU, the public, to get involved in the effort by supporting Unitrans Volkswagen and Audi.

The initiative will provide an opportunity for every South African to participate in the war against rhino poaching by supporting and purchasing their next new or used vehicle from Unitrans Volkswagen or Audi, without disadvantage to any price negotiations.

The greater the support, the greater the sponsorship, and the greater our chances of winning the war against Rhino Poaching.Together, we can make a difference!
