Travelling with children on Ryanair
These are leisure and low-cost airlines, so don’t expect free gifts or activity packs for the little ones!
Infant (under 2) can sit on an adult’s lap for 20GBP per flight. There is no cabin bag allowance for an infant travelling on an adult’s lap however a baby bag up to 5kg may be carried by the accompanying adult in addition to their own cabin bag allowance
2 items of baby equipment are carried free of charge per child – 1 pushchair plus either a car seat, booster seat or travel cot (additional items 10GBP / 10EUR).
Customers who have purchased a separate seat for an infant using an airline approved car seat are entitled to a free 10kg cabin bag allowance plus a small second bag and have the option to purchase a checked bag.
