SIBERIA: Russian Fire-fighting Plane Crashes In Siberia

At least eight people have died after a Russian plane on a fire-fighting mission crashed in Siberia.

Moscow confirmed the crash of the cargo plane and rescue workers found evidence that the plane came down in the early hours of Sunday morning in Russia’s Ir-kutsk region.

A photo accompanying the statement showed the plane smashed to pieces in a dense forest.

It is believed there were 10 people on board the plane, which had been missing since Friday.

But the death toll could rise.
