UGANDA: Uganda Increases Visa Fees To $100

News from Uganda show that the single entry visa fees have been raised to $100. This has taken effect effective July 1. 2015 in an official statement dated 30th June 2015.

If you are appliying for work permit, a non refundable prepayment fee on application for a work permit of USD 1500 for applicants for work permits and the ministry says that this was introduced mainly for the purpose of making applicants commit themselves while applying for work permits and successful applicants would have to top up, while those who are unsuccessful would forfeit it.

Ugandan passport:

Diplomatic: Ushs. 300,000

Official: Ushs. 250,000

Ordinary: Ushs. 150,000

East African: Ushs. 80,000

Convectional Travel Document (CTD): Ushs. 120,000

Passports within two Working Days: Ushs. 300,000
