A new tourism promotional campaign aims to promote tourism of six districts ranging from Banke to Mugu in the mid-western has been launched.
The program titled 'Rarabas to Rara Lake' jointly launched by the Nepal Tourism Board and Society of Travels and Tour Operators Nepal (Sotto) here today has laid focus on the promotion of tourism of Banke, Dailekh, Kalikot, Jumla and Mugu, the districts in the proposed province no. 6. The Rarabas is a settlement occupied by those who were shifted there from the existing Rara National Park area in 2032 BS with the establishment of the park.
On the occasion, NTB Executive Director Deepak Raj Joshi expressed his hope that a new program would help promote tourism of the entire mid-west region.
