Moi International Airport Mombasa, Filled With Tourists
A new Television station that seeks to promote the country's tourism sector has been launched.

Tourism and Wildlife Television went on air last month and is the only locally-owned station dedicated to the tourism industry.

It will feautre leisure, hospitality, travel, wildlife, culture and heritage programmes.

According to CEO Joe Kyalo the new station also seeks to promote new products and services and showcase industry trends.

“Tourism TV’s in-house unit provides specialised production on a wide range of hand-picked projects, depending on viewers needs. Being the only channel dedicated to this market,” Kyalo said.

The free-to- air digital channel is hosted on the Pan African Network Group (Pang digital platform).

“The channel has also created a niche and filled the gap as well as consolidated the industry players by availing a medium primarily dedicated to the vast industry,” he said.
