Georgia and Montenegro will start talks on a visa-free regime between the two countries according to Georgia's Foreign Ministry.
Georgia's Foreign Minister Tamara Beruchashvili met with representatives of the Montenegro government during her visit to Montenegro to attend the annual 2BS FORUM on June 4-6 in Budva.
Beruchashvili announced that during the talks with her colleague Montenegro voiced support to the idea of a possible visa-free regime between the two countries in the future.
She also noticed that the issue of free trade would be also decided after a political decision on visa-free regime under bilateral cooperation is made.
Beruchashvili highlighted the fact that Montenegro has a visa free-regime with the EU since 2009.
