INDIA: Around 1, 48,697 Visitors At Hornbill Till Dec 6

Around 1,48,678 people have witnessed the 2015 Hornbill Festival till December 6, Tourist officer Toka E. Tuccumi said on Sunday.

He said that this year’s turnout was positive adding, December 6 witnessed the highest number of visitors numbering around 43,753 out of which 132 were foreign tourists, 3621 domestic tourists and 40000 local tourists.

On Day 1, the turnout was around 22,740 out of which 180 were foreign tourists, 2560 domestic and 20000 local visitors.

On Dec 2 there were 16,438 visitors foreign tourists 137, domestic 1801 and local and neigbouring state visitors 14,500 while on Day-3 a total of 13,904 tourists visited, Day-4 around 22,750 and Day-5 29,112 visitors.
