ETIHAD today announced planned new Boeing 787-9 operation scheduled for 2016, which will gradually enter operations on following 5 routes between May and November 2016. The airline will be taking delivery of 2-class 787-9, with configuration of J28Y271.

eff 01MAY16 Abu Dhabi – Dusseldorf (Previously served by 3-class 787-9 in 2014/15)
eff 01JUN16 Abu Dhabi – Perth
eff 01AUG16 Abu Dhabi – Istanbul Ataturk
eff 01AUG16 Abu Dhabi – Shanghai Pu Dong
eff 01NOV16 Abu Dhabi – Johannesburg
