Trump was voted the candidate travelers would least like to sit next to on a plane.
We’re not sure yet who the American public will vote in for President, but for now, many have voted that they don’t want to sit next to Donald Trump on a plane.
According to a survey that Yahoo Travel commissioned of 2,760 travelers, 43 percent responded that Trump would be the most disagreeable seatmate of the Presidential candidates. Hillary Clinton came in second, with 35 percent of Americans not wanting to sit next to her, particularly white people (43 percent) and those earning more than $80,000 (43 percent).
Trump’s naysayers were more diverse: 56 of black respondents said no to sitting next to him, 51 percent of Hispanics, 55 percent of lesbians, and 58 percent of gay men.
Is this the harbinger of things to come next November? Who can say — but we doubt it’s likely to be a hot-button campaign issue anyway.
Hillary and the Donald aren’t exactly ones to fly with the masses, are they? Lucky for them, too, as they won’t have to endure the indignities that can come with flying these days:
Bare feet on your armrest
Impatient fliers who open the emergency exit
A seatmate who attacks you with pepper spray
Getting kicked off a plane for being Arabic
Getting kicked off for having your texts misread
Being handcuffed for using the wrong bathroom
Getting the cops called on you if your child is crying
Having to crawl onto the plane because the flight crew won’t set up the wheelchair ramp
Having to crawl off the plane when your wheelchair doesn’t arrive
