Experience and technologies applied in the South-Korean airport “Incheon” will be used in the course of modernization of the airport of the capital city.
As reported by Uzbekistan Today, specialists from South Korea will carry out the feasibility study of the project until the end of 2016. The cost of the modernization is estimated more than 312Mln USD.
The new terminal will offer services for up to 1,500 passengers an hour.
The International airport “Incheon” is one of the largest airports in the world in terms of international transportation and number of flights.
The airport has several times hit the highest rating in Skytrax, and in 2009 Skytrax recognized the Incheon airport as the best airport of the world.
Korean Air and KOICA agency will participate in the modernization and re-equipment of the Tashkent airport.
