The ELO aim to create awareness of the biodiversity and tourism values of the Lubombo Plateau and the need for its protection and conservation. The ELO also looks to support the Eco Lubombo Program, which the Lubombo Conservancy, COSPE, and the SNTC have been working hard to develop and implement. This has recently evolved into a Lubombo TFCA project supported by GIZ with a focus on the Lubombo Eco Trails network. The community of Mhlumeni will be supported by the proceeds of this event.
