Two fishermen have been treated for hypothermia after their dinghy capsized at Encounter Bay, south of Adelaide, this afternoon.
Police said the 71-year-old and 64-year-old men from Victor Harbor spent more than an hour in the water before they were rescued.
Witnesses said one man managed to swim 300 metres to shore with the help of rescuers.
The other man was pulled aboard a Sea Rescue boat.
Police said the men's lives were saved by the fact they were wearing life jackets.
Both were reported in a stable condition at the South Coast District hospital.
