MONGOLIA: Belarus and Mongolia Air Service Agreement Approved
Belarus and Mongolia Air Service Agreement Approved. The cabinet approved the Air Service Agreement (ASA) established between governments of Mongolia and Belarus on September 4, 2013 during the visit of Belarusian PM Myasnikovich's visit to Ulaanbaatar.
Mongolia had concluded such agreements with governments from 36 countries with the current agreement being the 37th.
According to the ASA, the two governments undertake responsibility to appoint one particular airline company from each side to conduct regular flights, to agree on setting up Ulaanbaatar and Minsk as the destination points for conducting flights, to arrange flight routes over the territories of the third countries and to waive taxes for income generated from sales and for resources, spare parts and fuel engaged during flights.
The agreement also sets out the general requirements for international scheduled flights and standards for safety and security.
