AUSTRALIA: Queensland Tourism Minister To Visit China
Queensland's tourism minister will embark on a trade mission to China to further tap into the state's biggest tourism market.
Kate Jones says she'll next week lead a tourism delegation to key Chinese cities, including Guangzhou and Shanghai, to maximise aviation and investment opportunities in Queensland.
'China is our most valuable and fastest growing international market, with Chinese travellers spending $834 million in Queensland last year - up 43 per cent,' Ms Jones told parliament on Tuesday.
