JAPAN: Air Niugini Plans Second Weekly Service To Tokyo

Well managed and operationally excellent, Air Niugini, the national carrier of Papya New Guinea has announced plans to begin operating a second weekly service between its home base in Port Moresby to Narita International Airport in Tokyo, Japan . The new service will commence from July 6, 2016 and will use one of the airline's fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft.

Air Niugini also announced that is also supporting tourism initiatives featuring the fascinating resorts of Rabaul, Madang, Mt Hagen and Alotau with the possible introduction of new non-stop international flights direct to these regionla airports.

A small component of its funding supports a trial direct service from Brisbane to Alotau during the launch of the annual Kenu and Kundu Festival.

In 2015 Air Niugini increased the frequencies of flights from Port Moresby to Hong Kong and Honiara, plus the airline added a new service to Vanuatu.
