UNITED KINGDOM: Leonardo Hotel London Heathrow Airport Renovation Completed

In March this year, the former Holiday Inn on Bath Road was taken over by Leonardo Hotels. It has 230 rooms and 11 conference rooms for up to 160 people.

The Leonardo Hotel London Heathrow Airport has successfully completed the first phase of its comprehensive renovation work in the public areas and presents itself in the new and well-known Leonardo "Look & Feel". The investment in the new design delivers the familiar high-quality standard of the Leonardo hotel brand. Around 300 partners, clients and sponsors joined in celebration of the renovation at the hotel.

The Airport Hotel, located directly in front of Terminal 2 of London-Heathrow Airport, features a re-designed open lobby concept, in which the lobby, bar and restaurant merge into one another seamlessly, and yet, with their clear demarcation, still form the central focus of the building. Due to its top location, the hotel is in strong demand by business travellers – whether for business gatherings or meetings – and the new design of the spaces with increased transparency and clarity provides the suitable professional backdrop with a high degree of comfort for short as well as long-term stays.

In March this year, the former Holiday Inn on Bath Road was taken over by Leonardo Hotels. It has 230 rooms and 11 conference rooms for up to 160 people. A hotel-own taxi service takes every hotel guest to their terminal of choice in a matter of minutes. At the same time, due to the excellent transport connections, London city centre can be reached within 15 minutes on the Heathrow Express. The opening of the hotel represents an excellent start for the company in the UK. But this is just the beginning, as there are further expansion plans for the English market in the future.
