ANGOLA: New Visa Service

Facilitating ongoing in the allocation of visas by Angola makes the country more attractive to investors and tourists, creating new sources of revenue, a fall height of the oil economy.

With the modernization process in the Migration and Foreigner Services, Angola is starting the granting of tourist and ordinary visas with multiple entries, a measure "warmly received by visitors and business investors," according to the Economist Intelligence Unit. According to the EIU, also the creation of a tourist visa is an important measure that can "help unlock the strong tourism potential of Angola, which largely continues to take advantage." In the current difficulties, the diversification of the economy has become urgent, the Tourist Development Institute of Angola (Infotur) estimates that tourism can come to represent an added value to GDP of at least 4.7 billion dollars annually from 2020.

Another of the modernization announced by the authorities to facilitate the entries is the acceleration of international arrivals, which are also time-consuming.
