PAGEANT’S BACKGROUND
A pageant introduced more than a decade ago, the Miss Malaysia Pageant is a unique contest incorporating three Miss Malaysia titles in one pageant – Miss Malaysia Tourism Queen of the Year, Miss Malaysia Tourism Metropolitan and Miss Malaysia Asia Pacific. It is indeed one of the most popular beauty contest held in Malaysia.
Miss Malaysia Pageant has provided many opportunities for young aspiring females in the field of commercial advertising and film. Participating in the Miss Malaysia Pageant has also given them a lifetime experience to value the gems and beauty of womanhood.
A total of 18 finalists from different States of Malaysia will be brought together to vie for the coveted title of Miss Malaysia Pageant. They are here not only to showcase and appreciate their special qualities but also to promote Peace, Goodwill, Solidarity and Friendship among the contestants.
Throughout the entire duration of the pageant, participants will also be taken to various promotional activities for various Sponsors. The winners of the pageant will each represent the country to the various international pageant world finals held annually, competing with beauty queens from around the world for the prestigious international titles.

Beauty is a characteristic of a person. Beauty is not only on the outside, one’s beauty is coming from inside to outside. Beauty is given by the god, no ones can take away from you.
