The Executive Secretary of Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Commission, Sani Alhassan Mohammed yesterday debunked the report that this year's intending pilgrims from the state to Suadi Arabia would not be airlifted from Dutse InternationaI airport saying the rumour was untrue and false.
The airport used for last year's national inaugural flight as well as airlift of the state's contingents for the Hajj.
Mohammed made the clarification while fielding questions from newsmen in Dutse saying that an agreement was already entered with the state's official air carriers, Kabo Air and Max Air for the airlift of the state's pilgrims from Dutse Airport.
He added that the passports of all intending pilgrims from the state had since been taken to Abuja for visa processing saying, for feeding the pilgrims had paid for two meals and was added into the Hajj airfare.
