Cinnamon Life, the luxury 800 bedroom property of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts in Colombo, will open in 2019, revealed Rohan Karr, Executive Vice President, Sector Head-City Hotels, Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts. He shared this information at the sidelines of Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo & Sri Lankan Airlines’ See Shop Party Colombo Package launch priced at INR 19,999/- (inclusive of airfare, transfers and full board accommodation).
“India can make a huge difference to Sri Lanka. We receive 10% of our occupancy from India,” Karr stated. With this package, Karr is expecting 100% increase from India for the property which is part of the Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts chain, under the portfolio of blue chip conglomerate John Keells Holdings. The majority of the property’s guests are MICE travellers. The average duration of stay for Indian travellers is 2-3 days.
Travellers can avail of two nights, three days Colombo package from Bengaluru, Chennai, Cochin, Trivandrum, Madurai, Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi.
