Manish Jha, the outgoing General Manager of the Seychelles AVANI Barbarons Hotel, and Thomas Barguil, the resort's new General Manager, paid a courtesy call on Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible of Tourism and Culture, at his ESPACE Offices in Victoria. Also present during this meeting were Anne Lafortune, the PS for Tourism; Benjamine Rose, the PS for Culture; and Sherin Naiken, the CEO of the Tourism Board.
The meeting was an opportunity for Manish Jha, the outgoing GM of the resort, to say goodbye to the Minister and his senior staff and to thank them for the good working partnership that existed between the Ministry, the Tourism Board, and the resort, and also to introduce Thomas Barguil, the new General Manager for the resort, who arrives in Seychelles from Thailand where he successfully managed their AVANI property.
Minister St.Ange said as he welcomed Mr. Barguil that he hoped the existing working cooperation between AVANI, the Ministry, and the Tourism would continue under the new General Manager, and he re-assured Mr. Banguil that his ministry is managed with an open-door policy and remained always willing to listen to him as and when the support of the ministry was required.
