China has issued a travel warning against the U.S. through the end of 2019, the latest shot amid the worsening trade war. While the overall impact on the U.S. tourism would be manageable, it could pose a threat to some airline companies as well as casinos.
While Chinese tourists spend heavily around the world, contributing to $270 billion abroad last year alone, they only accounted for 3% of the $1.1 trillion U.S. travel market in 2018, according to the U.S. Travel Association.
In a worst-case scenario, the number of Chinese tourists to the U.S. could drop by nearly 50%, resulting in an $18 billion hit to travel spend, Bank of America Merrill Lynch estimated.
Chinese tourism is a big prize in global trade. On this front, the U.S. has more to lose than China, Robin Winkler, foreign exchange strategist at Deutsche Bank, said in a note.
The trade war would likely take a severe dent to household income growth to squash the new middle class’s appetite for passports and foreign travel. A weaker exchange rate could make foreign travel somewhat less affordable, Winkler added.
Chinese travel to the U.S. has already declined by 5.7% in 2018 from a year ago, compared to a 4% gain in 2017 and a 15% increase in 2016, according to the U.S. Travel Association.
The number is only going lower after the Chinese government issued an alert for Chinese tourists traveling to America, citing shootings, robberies and theft that have occurred frequently in the U.S.
Since only legacy airline companies offer flights to China, the negative impact from declining Chinese tourists would fall mostly on United Continental, Delta Air Lines and American Airlines, according to Bank of America.
United carries the most flights to China with 47% of U.S. airline capacity, compared to about 25% for American Airlines and Delta, Bank of America analyst Andrew Didora said.
In the bank’s worst case scenario which involves a 50% drop in Chinese tourists, United’s unit revenues could see a 140 basis point drag and the impact would be 70 basis points for American Airline and Delta, Didora said.
Chinese travelers, who are big customers for casinos, might now turn their backs on gaming in the U.S. amid the travel advisory and intensified trade tensions. The casinos in Las Vegas are already feeling the pinch.
Las Vegas has already noted weaker Asian gambling trends. Baccarat gross gaming revenues are often a barometer for the health of the Asian consumer and are down 26% year to date, Didora said.
The weakness could weigh on casinos including MGM, Las Vegas Sands and Wynn Resorts that have an exposure to baccarat, the analyst noted.
Luxury retailers could also take a hit. Tiffany & Co. on Wednesday blamed disappointing quarterly results on a sharp decline in Chinese tourism
because of the trade war.

USA: American Airlines Opens New Routes
American Airlines launched 26 routes between 18 December and 6 January, with the airline’s Charlotte Douglas (CLT), Chicago O’Hare (ORD), Dallas/Forth Worth (DFW), Los Angeles (LAX), Miami (MIA), Phoenix (PHX) and New York LaGuardia (LGA) hubs all seeing new services.
The carrier has also begun a route from Las Vegas (LAS) to Tokyo Narita (NRT), although this route will only operate on a daily basis for the duration of the technology show CES 2019, taking place in Las Vegas between 8-12 January.
The route is also operated by Delta Air Lines during this period. Of the other 25 routes launched, six face direct competition. See how the FTWAs from Oaxaca and North Eleuthera compare to other entries from around the globe.
American Airlines launched a three times weekly service between Los Angeles and Buenos Aires Ezeiza on 19 December, with the first flight touching down in Argentina the following morning.
On arrival, a gift exchange took place, which was conducted by: Gonzalo Schames, Manager of Operations Argentina, Chile & Uruguay, American Airlines; Martin Eurnekian, President, Aeropuertos Argentina 2000; Guillermo Dietrich, Minister of Transport of Argentina; and Andrés Duncan Paterson, Sales Manager Argentina and Uruguay, American Airlines. No other airline operates the city pair.
American Airlines commenced flights between Dallas/Fort Worth and Oaxaca on 19 December, with a press conference being held at the Mexican airport on the day of the route launch.
Among those taking part in proceedings were: Juan Pablo García Luna Gutierrez, Administrator of the Airport of Oaxaca; Juan Carlos Rivera Castellanos, Secretary of Tourism of Oaxaca; Alejandro Ismael Murat Hinojosa, Governor of Oaxaca; and José María Giraldo, Director Mexico and Canada, American Airlines. The 1,765-kilometre route will operate daily.
American Airlines launched a daily service between Philadelphia and Mexico City on 5 July, with the US airport baking this fantastic cake to commemorate the new service, with the culinary masterpiece having been made by Night Kitchen bakery, a company with over 30 years baking expertise.
Seen posing with the route launch party showstopper are Olympia Colasante, VP Philadelphia Operations, American Airlines and Chellie Cameron, CEO of Philadelphia Airport.
American Airlines launched another international route from Philadelphia (PHL) on 5 July, beginning a daily service from the Pennsylvania hub to Mexico City (MEX).
The oneworld member will operate the 3,212-kilometre connection between Philadelphia and the Mexican capital daily utilising its fleet of A319s, with the carrier not expected to face any direct competition on the sector.
With this launch, American now serves two destinations in Mexico from Philadelphia, with it already operating to Cancun 15 times weekly this summer.
The USB3 carrier already serves Mexico City from Charlotte Douglas, Dallas/Fort Worth, Los Angeles, Phoenix and Miami. In total American will offer 97 weekly departures to Mexico City across its six routes from the US in S18.
American Airlines has commenced flights from three different hubs, all launched on 15 February. New A320 services from the carrier’s second-largest operation, at Charlotte Douglas (CLT) were started to Tucson (TUS).
Additionally, the oneworld airline kicked off a 2,403-kilometre link between Philadelphia (PHL), its fifth-biggest base in terms of weekly seats, and San Antonio (SAT), which is flown by its 128-seat A319 fleet.
Approximately 120,000 travellers fly between San Antonio and Philadelphia each year, so this new service answers the need for many travellers and is a highlight to our economic progress, said Russ Handy, Aviation Director for the City of San Antonio.
Finally, again on the same day, American began the airport pair from Washington Reagan (DCA) to Tallahassee (TLH), operated by its CRJ 900 aircraft. None of the new route trio has any direct route competition, and all will be operated on a daily basis.
American Airlines commenced six new US domestic connections on 3 April, with its bases at Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), New York JFK (JFK), New York LaGuardia (LGA), Phoenix (PHX) and Washington Reagan (DCA) all gaining at least one new service.
Of the six airport pairs which launched, only two face no direct competition, namely the sectors between Phoenix and Amarillo (AMA) and Reagan to Little Rock (LIT).
The average sector length of the six services is 949 kilometres, with the distances ranging from the 150-kilometre hop between JFK and Philadelphia (PHL) to the 2,338-kilometre route from Dallas/Fort Worth to Oakland (OAK).
American Airlines over the past seven days has launched 27 new routes, of which 24 were domestic. The only international connections inaugurated included a weekly (Saturdays) service between Miami (MIA) and Bonaire (BON), an airport pair which began on 9 June.
The others were between Chicago O’Hare (ORD) and Calgary (YYC), plus Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) to Rekyjavik/Keflavik (KEF), with the latter two having launched two days earlier.
Of the 27 routes commenced by the oneworld member this week, only 15 are presently not served by another carrier. Of those which do face competition, 11 will go head-to-head with Star Alliance carrier United Airlines, including all nine routes introduced to American’s network from Chicago O’Hare.
The average weekly frequency of American’s new routes is 7.5, while the mean sector length is 1,627 kilometres.

Jeff is an ideal choice to lead Four Seasons Hotel Doha, along with overseeing the hotel’s future enhancement projects, said Simon Casson, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts President of Hotel Operations – Europe, Middle East and Africa.
His depth of international experience, specifically as it relates to hotel openings and transformations, in addition to his passion and enthusiasm for day-to-day hotel operations, makes him an ideal ambassador for Doha.
Rednour who comes from Las Vegas, Nevada, began his career with the company at Four Seasons Corporate Office in Las Vegas as an intern 18 years ago.
Growing up in Las Vegas and surrounded by the city’s lively hospitality industry, it seemed like a natural career choice, and one that has proven to be quite suitable for this Four Seasons veteran.

Ultimately hotels are about people, says Rednour. I realised I wanted to work on-property, building strong relationships with both the staff and the guests.
With that in mind, he made the transition from a corporate role to Director of Rooms at Four Seasons Hotel Houston in 2007, followed by stints at Four Seasons Resort Langkawi as Resort Manager and Regent Singapore, a Four Seasons Hotel as Hotel Manager.
Rednour makes the move to Doha most recently from Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui in Thailand, where he served as General Manager of the 74-room luxury resort.
Under his leadership, Koh Samui was continuously recognised as one of the top resorts in the world by well-respected travel authorities, including Travel + Leisure and Condé Nast Traveler.
Doha is an incredible destination, brimming with arts, culture, and an emerging cosmopolitan scene, and I’m absolutely honoured at the opportunity to lead the award-winning Hotel, noted Jeff.
It’s truly a dynamic market and reflects the enthusiasm, innovation and diversity of the city – as reflected in our staff, which is made up of more than 53 nationalities and cultures, during this exciting time and as we look towards the future with Qatar 2022.
Rednour is a graduate of the University of Nevada with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Administration and holds an Executive Master’s in Business Administration from Temple University in Singapore.
A culture enthusiast, Rednour looks forward to exploring Doha’s awe-inspiring desert, vibrant souqs and famed museums with his family.

CANADA: WestJet Inaugurates WestJet Link And Thanks Agents With 4% Commission
WestJet's regional airline WestJet Encore is celebrating five years of service with a sale-a-bration.
Travellers can book now and save up to 20% off Econo base fares between 20 select destinations in Canada and anywhere WestJet flies.
Bookings must be made by June 25, for travel September 15-25, 2018.
The news follows Wednesday's announcement that WestJet inaugurated its new regional airline service, WestJet Link, from Cranbrook and Prince George to Calgary. Service starts from Lethbridge and Lloydminster to Calgary on June 21 and Medicine Hat to Calgary on June 22.
Overall, WestJet Link connects five new cities to WestJet's growing hub at the YYC Calgary International Airport.
These new routes add to WestJet's existing leadership position in Calgary, offering more flights and seats to more destinations than any other airline with an average of 147 daily departures to 49 destinations.
In a move sure to cement their status with Manitoba sports fans, WestJet is making a call to fans of the Winnipeg Jets to board its jets headed to Las Vegas.
The airline announced that it's adding two special nonstop flights between Winnipeg and Las Vegas. WestJet is the only airline featuring non-stop service from Winnipeg to the McCarran International Airport (LAS) in Las Vegas.
WestJet is thrilled to support the Winnipeg hockey community and our WestJetters in their love of Canada's game, said John Weatherill, WestJet Vice President, Pricing and Revenue Management and Chief Winnipeg Hockey Fan.
We look forward to flying the spirit of Canadian hockey to Las Vegas and welcoming fans on board our jets for a convenient nonstop flight he added.
WestJet's special flights will operate in both directions from Winnipeg to Las Vegas on May 17 and 20. Manitobans wishing to travel outside of these times can also fly nonstop from Winnipeg to Las Vegas, twice weekly this summer on Thursdays and Sundays or up to three times daily through Calgary.
Seats are for sale now and additional flights may be determined at the whims of the hockey gods. And maybe the Winnipeg goaltender.
This playoff series marks the first time a Winnipeg team has made it this far into the NHL playoffs. It's also a remarkable series given that the Golden Knights are an expansion team.
The winner of this series will play in the Stanley Cup finals, facing off against the winner of the Washington-Tampa Bay series.
With the potential labour action now resolved, WestJet is offering travel agents four per cent commission on all domestic Econo fares to thank its partners for their support.
Commission can now be earned on all Econo fares for new air-only bookings made between June 1 and June 30, 2018, for travel within Canada from June 1 to July 31, 2018.
We know the potential labour action caused frustration for you and your travellers, and we want to extend a sincere thank you to all our travel trade partners for your patience, said Lyell Farquharson, Vice-President, Sales and Distribution.
With the recent agreement to a settlement process, you and your clients can once again book with confidence. We are offering commission on additional Econo fares to recognize all our partners for your continued support over the last few weeks.

USA: Virgin Atlantic To Commence Las Vegas London Flights Next Year
Virgin Atlantic has announced plans to launch flights to Las Vegas (LAS) from London-Heathrow (LHR), effective on March 31, 2019.
These new flights to LAS are being transferred from London-Gatwick (LGW) to LHR’s Terminal 3, in which Virgin has a significant presence.
The LGW flight used to be operated with the airline’s Boeing 747-400 but the new LHR operation will be operated with the much newer and efficient 787-9 Dreamliner.
Even though it’s a drop in capacity, the airline will now offer more premium seats and their signature Dreamliner product.
Virgin Atlantic have made some route announcements as follows:
- Flights to Las Vegas will now operate from London Heathrow on March 31st, 2019, on the same day that LGW operations to LAS stop, signalling a transfer of flights.
The 787-9 that Virgin will be using for this route will have a three-class configuration, offering 31 Upper-Class Seats, 35 Premium seats and 192 economy seats.
The flight will depart LHR at 12:40 local time and arrive in LAS at 19:05 local time.
In addition, there will be a second daily service to Boston-Logan International Airport (BOS), which will be operated with an Airbus A330-300.
The flight will depart LHR at 20:30 local time, arriving in BOS the next morning at 08:30 local time.
Barbados will also be returning to the network, operating between December 2018 and February 2019 with the airline’s A330-300.
Aircraft in use for LHR-LAS: 787-9 Dreamliner compared to the 747-400 indicating a capacity drop.
- A second daily LHR flight to Boston is to be added also using an A330-300.
- A winter Seasonal service to Barbados will also be operated from LHR also.
From spring 2019 we’re making it even easier for customers to travel from London-Heathrow to Las Vegas and Boston by introducing new flights.
The new services have been timed to offer convenient onward connections for UK and US customers, and feature our award-winning service, a three-course meal and in-flight entertainment on every flight, said Shai Weiss, Chief Commercial Officer for Virgin Atlantic.
We’re also pleased to bring back our popular seasonal service between London-Heathrow and Barbados to offer even more choice for holidaymakers, she added.
The fact that the flights from Gatwick to Las Vegas will be terminated in March 2019 must indicate the growth at Heathrow must be stronger than at Gatwick.
For the likes of Boston, the second daily route is largely due to the rise in demand of business travelers flying to that city more frequently, as well as it being heavily advertised as a tourist destination within the UK.
The Barbados route, however, will be returning due to its overall success in the winter season, although it seems that a year-round service from Heathrow will be on the cards when the demand for the route grows overall across the entire year.

USA: Man Denied Flight With Grand Daughter Because He Is Blind, A Liability
A legally blind man from Florida has slammed Frontier Airlines, after employees refused to let him board a plane with his young granddaughter.
A supervisor of the ticket counter questioned the ability of me taking care of my granddaughter aboard the plane since I needed help getting to the terminal, Kliphton Miller said, explaining the employee then called Frontier's head office.
Corporate said, do not let him on the plane that is an extra liability to take care of a blind person with a baby if an emergency occurs.
Kliphton said he had flown Frontier Airlines alone and with his 18-month-old granddaughter previously but for this particular flight, the gate clerks when he asked for help getting onto the aircraft.
The 44-year-old grandfather was traveling from Tampa to Las Vegas, where his granddaughter's parents live.

USA: 900 Guests Evacuated After Power Outage At Rio Casino In Las Vegas
A power outage has forced the evacuation of 900 rooms at the Rio casino in Las Vegas, officials said.
The evacuations happened around 7 a.m. Thursday when a fuse blew in a backup generator that was powering the hotel’s Masquerade Tower, said spokesman Richard Broome of the Rio’s parent company, Caesars Entertainment.
The outage affects the fire control systems, so officials are making patrons leave their rooms.
“It all went dark, and then we heard a commotion in the hall,” Amanda Paulsen, who was staying at the casino with her husband for the holiday weekend, told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “We went to look and someone said, ‘The power’s out, we have to leave.’ ”
Patrons are being directed to the Rock of Ages lounge, where they’re getting food, beverages and updates about the situation, Broome said. It’s too early to say when the power will be restored and whether guests will be compensated for the inconvenience, he said.
The backup generator was on after a small electrical fire Wednesday night compromised the main power source.

Sin City's Chinese tourism
Sin City and Asian investors are going all in on Chinese tourism as some of Las Vegas' latest developments on and off the Strip target Chinese nationals and Chinese-Americans.
The Chinese have been regulars along the resort corridor for decades. Now, officials and developers intent on capitalizing on burgeoning Chinese wealth and Asian-American population growth are courting them in a major way.
Nonstop flights from mainland China are planned for the first time, and two Asian-themed casinos will be among the first post-recession additions to Sin City's glittering skyline.
The new hotel-casinos boast of plans for what some other resorts such as the MGM Grand, Wynn and Venetian have quietly offered for years. Guests will be treated to familiar foods, Chinese-speaking service employees and the table game of choice, baccarat.
"The Chinese do quite enjoy a very Chinese experience. They do gravitate toward Asian amenities. At Wynn Macau, it's mostly Chinese restaurants and menus in Chinese," said Alex Bumazhny, gambling analyst with Fitch Ratings.
The Lucky Dragon Hotel and Casino is expected to open this fall, and Resorts World Las Vegas is set to begin construction in earnest by year's end.
By Las Vegas' standards, Lucky Dragon is a modestly sized property set on 3 acres just off the Strip. It will have 200 hotel rooms and a casino floor spanning 27,000 square feet.
Lucky Dragon executives said the new casino will focus on domestic Chinese gamblers, calling them an underserved niche market made up of Chinese people who live in America's ethnic enclaves, including local Las Vegans, the reliable weekend hordes from California, and tourists from the Pacific Northwest and East Coast.
The mega resorts catering to Chinese gamblers target "ultra-high-end players," while the more casual Chinese bettors are left with more generic amenities designed for "American white people," said Dave Jacoby, Lucky Dragon's chief operating officer.
"We're playing on the existing market that isn't served well," Jacoby said.
The developer is a privately held entity known as the Las Vegas Economic Impact Regional Center. The casino is financed with money from Chinese investors through the EB-5 visa program, which grants green cards to foreigners in return for investments of at least $500,000 on job-creating projects. Lucky Dragon was an easy sell given Las Vegas' appeal in China, Jacoby said.
For the years-delayed Resorts World on the Strip's northern end, the blossoming Chinese tourism business will be a bonus by the time it opens, now projected for March 2019.
The $4 billion casino resort property has been in the works since 2013, with an original opening date of 2016. It is planned to have 3,100 rooms and 100,000 square feet of gambling space, along with restaurants and shops spread across its 88-acre site. Plans for a convention center, panda habitat and 4,000-seat theater are on hold for the initial construction phase.
Resorts World marks the latest entry into the U.S. market for the Malaysia-based Genting Group, which owns resort and casino properties around the world.
Gerald Gardner, the casino's general counsel and senior vice president of government affairs, said Resorts World expects to build its Las Vegas business through its existing branding among Chinese already familiar with its Asian properties. In Sin City, the primary target will be domestic visitors because no other Asian-themed properties exist on the Strip. On the radar, though, is a plan to capture Chinese tourists as they begin to visit in greater numbers.
"The real spikes in Las Vegas revenue occur when several things happen in a short period of time," Gardner said.
China's Hainan Airlines announced Aug. 4 that it was seeking final U.S. approval to start nonstop flights between Las Vegas and Beijing. The service is expected to begin in December with flights three days a week at McCarran International Airport. The only other direct flights to or from Asia are offered on a Korean Air route out of Seoul.
Just 16 percent of Las Vegas' record 42 million tourists in 2015 came from other countries, according to the city's tourism board. The most recent figures from 2014 also show that while the Chinese account for a large share, travelers from Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom make up the bulk of international visitors.
Officials said Chinese tourists largely have been undercounted because of the lack of nonstop flight service. Those travelers come to Las Vegas after entering the U.S. through other hubs, such as Los Angeles, Seattle or Chicago, according to Joel Chusid, Hainan Airlines' executive director in the U.S.
"The market is there," Chusid said. "It just hasn't fully been touched."
Tourism officials and experts said that although Macau's casino empire remains a competitor for Las Vegas' gambling revenue, the new nonstop flight will be a catalyst for the Chinese to see — and spend their money on — other parts of the state and region, such as the Grand Canyon, Lake Tahoe and Death Valley.
"The growth opportunity is just so huge," said Bethany Drysdale, spokeswoman for the state tourism board, which has deployed marketing efforts in China for more than a decade. "It's huge for Las Vegas, and since Las Vegas is a gateway to the rest of the state, it's huge for Nevada."

JetBlue Expands ‘Mint’ Experience
JetBlue announced an expansion of its popular ‘Mint’ Premium service on on many of its routes, or as the carrier said, a “Monumintal Expansion”.
The carrier stated that eleven routes will now have the ‘Mint’ expansion, including Seattle, San Diego, Fort Lauderdale and Las Vegas as new cities for the service, which is offered exclusively on the carrier’s Airbus A321 aircraft.
“Mint helped traditional business class travelers realize there is a better way,” said JetBlue President and CEO Robin Hayes in a statement. “Our plan has long called for strategic growth of Mint on these valuable transcontinental routes, and now is the right time for us to capture this opportunity to bring much needed competition where customers are facing dwindling choices.”
The company has 13 planes outfitted for Mint now and four more coming this year. It expects to take delivery of nine more Mint airplanes in 2017 and more the year after. Airbus and its partners need a six-month window in order to swap any A321 orders from the all-economy cabin that the airline had been taking to the upgraded Mint interior.
The following domestic routes that will see the upgrade are:
- Seattle to Boston
- Seattle to New York JFK
- San Diego to Boston
- San Diego to New York JFK
- Los Angeles to Boston
- Las Vegas to New York JFK
- San Francisco to Fort Lauderdale
- Los Angeles to Fort Lauderdale
JetBlue’s announcement comes two weeks after it expanded ‘Mint’ to flights in the Caribbean, making it the only airline to feature lie-flat service on its regular flights there.
It also comes just days after losing out a bid battle to take over Virgin America. Alaska Airlines agreed to pay $2.6 billion in cash for the San Francisco-based carrier.
During the last decade, the U.S. airline industry has experienced an era of consolidation that has made it more competitive, and we are about to see now how airline no longer bid for their competitors but for customer retention and loyalty.

Sin Cities Of The World
The seven deadly sins of the world are what we haves been told to stay away. But the forbidden fruit was the doom of mankind. We tend to follow our history and magnify the acts which fall in grey area. This ‘area ‘are most visited most loved and most frowned upon by all. The stress level has risen and so has the need of stress busters. As the saying goes, once we have broken the egg best thing to do is get a mighty good omelet out of it. We dance at the edge knowing we can fall off but the joy of this dance is inexplicable. One place we think of in this scenario is Vegas but the world has changed and we have many more dance floors today. Man has built beauty entwined in vice and these places have made life lot more bearable. The break taken to this land takes you out of the mundane routines. The never-land for grown-ups is cropping up all over the world. The let’s hop into the best sin-lands of the world.
10 Berlin, Germany
With the first Institute for sexual studies in the world established in in mid-1900s, the legalization of prostitutes and sheer possibility of all sleazy dreams of the world this city makes it to our list easy-peasy. With the open attitude towards sex, the cabaret and burlesque shows have come up everywhere. The easy availability of cocaine vials, the KitKat clubs have made this a true blue sin city. The frowned upon movies are available in a volume which will put any hidden stash of teenager to shame. This is one place where your dark dreams are welcomed and put to reality if you are ready to loosen the strings of your wallet. It’s called ‘the most Fetish-free city of the World’ for a reason. So while planning a trip with buddies, keep Berlin in mind.
Bring out das gimp! Latex pants, tops, chains, whips and S&M are all the rage in Berlin, one of the world's most fetish-friendly sin cities. Need to be punished? Turn yourself in to any of the city's sex dungeons for rehabilitation. Want to dance at a club you can also have sex at? The KitKat Club will oblige. Between the First and Second World Wars, Berlin established the world's first institute for sexual science, which, among other things, had a porn collection that puts every teenager's hidden stash to shame. This openness inspired cabaret and burlesque shows. Plus, at a popular nightclub of the time, patrons could even send cocaine vials by pneumatic tube to other patrons.
In modern-day Berlin, prostitution is legal everywhere. So, if handcuffs and zipper masks don't do it for you, working women will be happy to oblige.
9 Amsterdam, the Netherlands
The international destination for weed/Harold and Kumar fans everywhere, Amsterdam has tonnes of cannabis cafes where you can buy hash and marijuana, smoke it and then order food to curb your munchies. Once you've peaked, walk over to the city's red light district where you can look at prostitutes who are on display for anyone who's interested. Finish up your day by checking out a live sex show where various acts are performed on stage, including couples doing the real thing. The greatest part: It's all legal. Not only can you sin, but you can do it paranoia-free.
One reason that makes the Netherlands famous is this tailor made sin city. Let’s take a look at it. How about a morning cup of tea with a generous hash? Marijuana Cakes and brownies to go with it? Well you can enjoy this all legally euphoria inducing breakfast in the cafes of the city. When you have reached your high, step out for some window shopping. This is no carry the bags get bored shopping; it’s literally prostitutes on sale. The choice is window shopping or take away with bargaining and haggling. This Sin city also offers all kinds of shows for you to enjoy. The other famed attraction is the red-light districts where the lights are literally put to red to show that the show is all set to begin. What a wonderful way to say that it’s all legal isn’t it?
8 Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
For a moment,Think about Gisele Bundchen, Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima The grace of Brazil is vouched by these exotic beauties. The Brazilian women are known to have magical effect which makes man swoon. Add to the list the topless beaches of Copacabana and Panama and you have the perfect destinations that define sin. Think this is pretty good but not enough to make it to this list then add the legal brothels with just as exotic menu as the ladies. This place has been the infamous for its nights and days. The weeklong feast is the culminating point of the life here for the masks and parades and costumes brings the wildness to its pinnacle. The perfect week for perfect fun. If you do it right, you won’t remember the half of it.
Brazil’s women have a mythical beauty that consistently puts them at the top of the world's supermodel list. Think: Gisele Bundchen, Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima. Rio is one of their biggest playgrounds. Pick a beach - Copacabana to Ipanema - and stare at topless women all day. Of course, this is all a prelude to when the fun begins at night. Slip into any of the city's nightclubs to grind with Brazil’s best over-powering bass lines and bossa nova. Rio also makes our sin cities list because it has legal brothels with a menu of services. To truly experience Rio, however, visit during its annual Carnaval, a weeklong festival of parades, music and masquerades that brings Rio’s flesh and fantasy culture to a boiling point. Bring plenty of sun and fun protection.
7. Moscow, Russia.
Tochkas! The one word that puts Moscow into this list. The open market for prostitutes. The clinch here is that this is illegal here but the Rubles go a long way. The coveted land Russian Vodka ensures enough fuel for the party. The clubs and pubs are extravagant and give a feel of recently unchained wildness. This sin land has proposition to get tie you in holy matrimony as well. Visit one of the many places to find your better half. It carters to women’s needs as well and is a perfect sin land.
What happens when a culture that has been bottled for decades finally gets uncorked? Insanity. You’ll find every kind of nightclub - from hardcore techno to rock to trance - jammed with people from across Europe. Do you want to find a longterm thing? No need to mailorder when you can meet a wife at the clubs and strip clubs near Red Square. Prostitution is illegal, but punishments are often paid off with rubles. You'll see prostitutes out in the open at tochkas (outdoor markets for prostitutes) or at the city's clubs.
Also check out The Hungry Duck. A bar that runs ladies' night three times a week with male strippers for two hours, and then lets men into the club once the strippers are offstage. It has been shut down repeatedly for lewdness and public sexual acts. And your party fuel? Only one of the best vodkas in the world. Comrade, your revolution starts here.
6 New Orleans, Louisiana
If dancing, feasting on one best French cuisine, drinking is on your list this is the place. It has been so for over 100 years today. The famous city is the North Americans go to land for the Mardi gras. The history vouches for its sins. The past and present mix today for the experience which is the USP of this land. The prostitution is illegal here but the history begs to differ. With many shows to gratify the visitors this city is worthy of the 6th rank of this list.
5. Macau, China
Have you been to the Venetian, Wynn and MGM hotel casinos in Las Vegas? Now try the ones in China. Located in South China, Macau's legalised gambling laws have made big money for the country and gotten it ranked as one of our top 10 sin cities. It has already surpassed Las Vegas twice for total gambling revenue and boasts the world's largest casino, the Venetian Macau. In all, it packs 33 casinos into 11 square miles with plans for plenty more to come. Like Las Vegas, Macau also advertises tons of women for extracurricular entertainment. While the prostitution laws contradict themselves in the books (it is legal, but procuring it is not), it’s practiced more and more out in the open.
The Las Vegas attractions of The Venetian, Wynn and MGM with twice the gambling! This puts Macau in our top 5. The Chinese and Portuguese cultures mix here to give the feeling of being out of the world. The unique festivals and events and free laws has made life at Macau picture perfect for the title of sin city. Women are available for various extracurricular activities with law forbidding the trade and legalizing the action. The revenue in gambling had out Vegas behind in the race, twice. The south Chinese destination has the largest casino of the world, The Venetian Macau. This is one rising Sin-city to keep a tab on, the offers are irresistible.
4. Tijuana, Mexico.
Cross one international Border from USA to Mexico and watch the wildness quotient multiple times infinity. The dollar is much more popular here for it can get you more for less. The lowering of drinking age to 18, legalizing of prostitution and free flowing cheaper than water alcohol makes it an easy on pockets larger than life holiday destination. Similar to the Amsterdam’s Modius-operendi, the Mexican version is ‘la Cauhuil’. This is one hot spot for the earl 20s for it has all the ingredients of sin.
Cross one of the busiest international border stations in the world and you may think you've crossed into the Wild West. The 21-year-old US drinking age drops to 18, illegal prostitution is now legal and zoned in its own red light district called "La Coahuila", people on the street solicit prescription drugs and illegal drugs for sale, strip clubs encourage a "hands on" policy with its strippers and tequila is dirt cheap. These reasons alone make Tijuana No. 2 on our list of sin cities and a huge party spot for American college kids at the city's various nightclubs on Revolucion Avenue. Take note, however, that Mexican police hold no quarter with gringos. Make sure to keep your head about you while you sin to avoid paying bribes or serving jail time for bad behaviour. Sinning the rest of the time is easy; just say, "Dos cervezas, dos disparos de tequila y dos mujeres por favor".
3. Las Vegas, Nevada.
If this were a list for the top 10 Sin cities of United States, Vegas would defiantly win it hands down. The city is built on sins and for sins. The fun begins right from the airports where you can start gambling right away. The shows, the massages, the alcohol on streets and ‘Escort Services’ are all the vices of Vegas. The best part is the 24/7 gambling. Enjoy the night life in day and win or lose your dime, you will have the time of your life. The city prides itself on being a reputable destination for tourists. No raised eye brows on this particular land. It is the true Never-land.
Las Vegas is every sinner's paradise. You can gamble all day and night (even in the airport) and prostitution, while not technically legal, disguises itself in the form of "escort services". You'll see plenty advertised on magazine stands and guys will snap escort service cards at you as you walk The Strip. Other available vices in this sin city include taking your drinks outside and finding lurid sex shows at strip clubs or tamer ones at well-known casinos.
Have you ever wanted to shoot an Uzi or a handgun? No problem. Just walk into a local gun shop with a driver’s license. You can even indulge your taste for sinful wine and food at many of the city's celebrity restaurants, like Thomas Keller’s Bouchon. The greatest part of this sin city, however, is that no matter how dubious the culture, people respect Vegas as a legitimate destination. Go on and sin. It’s an industry here.
2. Manama, Bahrain
Welcome to the party oasis of the Middle East. Connected by a causeway to nearby Saudi Arabia, Manama is a popular spot for Saudis to kick back from their country's restrictive laws. Here they can get hammered, go clubbing, mingle with the opposite sex, and if they're really daring, they can pick up prostitutes - a practice that's illegal but widely available. While Manama is still largely a Muslim city, a third of its residents are foreigners, so it has led to a much more liberal culture that gave women the vote in 2001, and let them drive cars. For many Saudi males this proximity to an open culture is irresistible and many jam the causeway and fill flights to the city every weekend.
Do you want to see what happens when Saudis cut loose and leave the rules behind?
The 33% of European population mixed in the Middle-Eastern region this is the only one country in the world which allows alcohol openly. The European influence on the region has led to relaxed atmosphere here. The kick back from the stern Saudi laws is this wonderland where one can drink, gamble and easily mix with fairer sex. The weekend here is jammed with the Saudi Males looking to blow of some steam. The sin city has brought some relief to the strict region as due to the European presence women experience freedom more than the surrounding areas. The sin has led to a virtue in Manama, Bahrain.
1. Pattaya, Thailand.
The winner of this list is Pattaya, whereas the above cities give you one or two of this list this is the whole package. Here sin is equivalent breathing and this land is apt if you want to take in a sinful gulp of air. Here Sex is dubbed entertainment and is available as easily as water. The massages, the hourly hotels, the clubs the beach are all part of this entertainment legend. If you get bored of the women, the men can watch men beat each other to pulp in Thai boxing matches that are held at the outdoor bars. This land is paradise for the Guy community. This land boasts of easy access to all the sins and easily wins this list. Here we conclude the tour of the most sinful lands of the world. The amusement at humans going to lengths to satisfy the devil inside is valid. We fight for the virtues and gratify the struggles in these sin cities. The lights are mirage away from life and everyone who experiences this world wishes to go back just one more time.
From "happy ending" massage parlors, brothels, go-go bars and cabarets with transsexuals to ping-pong dancing theatrics, everything is on display at this beachside resort city. Sex is the No. 1 activity (it's called "entertainment" in Thai), and if you can imagine any variation, you'll probably find it on Walking Street, a hub in South Pattaya. While you’re walking, prostitutes will call out to you and some will likely try to pull you into their brothel for services. If you're tired of sex shows, however, you can always sit down to watch guys beat each other to a pulp in a Thai boxing match hosted at the outdoor bars. Since the city is right on the beach, you can sleep off your hangover and sin from the night before and get a tan - just in time for the next evening’s "entertainment".
