EGYPT: Cairo Bomb Blast 6 Policemen Killed

Six police officers were killed this morning after a bomb exploded near a security services building in the Al-Haram area of Cairo, Egypt.

The police station in Giza received a report that a roadside bomb planted by unknown assailants near a security base near the Al-Salam Mosque.

Civil defence and police forces were dispatched to the scene immediately.

Roads leading to the area were closed following the attack.
