Avianca Argentina launched its third route from Buenos Aires Aeroparque (AEP) on 6 June, with it now offering 12 weekly flights on a 386-kilometre sector to Santa Fe (SFN).
The airline already links the capital city to Mar del Plata and Rosario respectively.
We are very happy to operate in the city of Santa Fe, a very important development for us, commented Hugo Diaz, Commercial Manager, Avianca Argentina.
The airline commenced operations in November 2017, with it presently operating two ATR 72-600s, and having another 10 on order.
The route between Aeroparque and Santa Fe is already served by Aerolineas Argentinas, with the flag carrier offering 11 weekly flights using its E190s.
Avianca Argentina plans to launch a fourth route to Reconquista on 17 July, an airport pair which is now bookable on the carrier’s website.
Based on the booking engine, the carrier will initially offer four weekly flights between the capital and Reconquista, with the latter airport currently not flown to by any commercial airline.
